How to Secure Your Swilcan Package for 2025: Application Details and Key Dates

Planning to tee off at the iconic Old Course in 2025? Here’s everything you need to know about securing your Swilcan Package. While the application window isn’t open just yet, it will soon be available – offering you a chance to experience one of golf’s most revered courses.

Application Window

The application period for the 2025 Swilcan Packages will officially open at 10:00 am BST on Monday, 26 August 2024. This window will remain open until midnight on Wednesday, 4 September 2024.

You have the flexibility to submit your application at any time during this period. Importantly, please note that applications are not processed on a first-come, first-served basis. So, you can take your time to ensure your details are correct before submitting.

The Ballot System

Given the high demand for tee times on the Old Course, not all applicants will be guaranteed a spot. Once the application window closes, a ballot (lottery) will be conducted for each category to determine the order of allocation. This ensures a fair distribution of opportunities, though it does mean that securing a tee time isn’t guaranteed.

How to Apply

When the application window opens, you’ll have three distinct categories to choose from, each with its own application process:

1. Old Course in High Season
2. Old Course in Shoulder Season
3. Old Course Single Golfers

Applications are submitted via an online form. To apply, simply choose your preferred category, and you will be directed to the appropriate application form. Within each category, you can select up to three date windows, giving you flexibility in scheduling your preferred tee time.

Confirmation and Results

After submitting your application, you will receive an email confirmation as proof of receipt. By the end of October 2024, you will be notified by email whether your application was successful or not. If you have already booked a tour with Bonnie Wee please let the team know if you are applying and when and then if you are successful or not.
