We are excited to announce that Bonnie Wee Golf, the proud curators of the Old Tom Morris Trail, has earned a spot on the shortlist for the prestigious ‘Best Golf Marketing Campaign’ category at the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards. This category is brand new, and we’re beyond delighted to be in the running.
David Harris, Managing Director of Bonnie Wee Golf and Founder of the Old Tom Morris Trail, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award. Thank you to St Andrews Links Trust for permitting us to create the Old Tom Morris Trail and thank you to VisitScotland for supporting this initiative from day one. Together with the clubs and this project we will keep the legacy of Old Tom alive for many years to come.”
In celebration of the 200th anniversary of Old Tom Morris’s birth in 2021, Bonnie Wee Golf introduced a captivating golf trail across Scotland. The trail showcases eighteen timeless courses either designed or enhanced by Old Tom himself. From hidden gems like Royal Dornoch, Crail, and Cruden Bay to iconic Open Championship venues such as Muirfield, Prestwick, and St Andrews Old, the trail promises an unforgettable golfing experience. The trail’s launch was made possible with the support of VisitScotland.

The 11th edition of the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards in association with Luxe Scot will take place at the five-star National Trust for Scotland’s Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre in Inverness.
The awards exist to celebrate the outstanding achievements within the Scottish golf tourism industry by recognising the finest courses, hotels and experiences that have helped shape Scotland’s reputation as a world-class golfing destination.
